This process usually involves:
• making lifecastings of actors.
• sculpting forms over the life castings.
• molding.
• casting.
• application and seamlessly blending appliances of foam latex, gelatin and silicone rubber onto actor's faces and bodies.

Custom wigs, gloves, teeth appliances, claws and scleral contact lenses can enhance the inhuman qualities of monsters.

Monsters do not have to be limited to humanoid forms however; such as our giant killer dandelion, giant Blobs, King Kong skull or T-Rex jaws.
