Most of the time, when Special Effects are created and staged properly, people rarely even notice they are present. No one stops to wonder how the person wearing the Jack in the Box head sees in order to walk around and interact with the other actors. A mini 'lipstick' camera hidden behind a hole in the tip of the mask's black nose feeds to video-vision goggles inside. For riding a bike or driving a car, the off camera side of the Jack head is cut open. The problem is solved simply, but invisibly.
