Creating each of these frozen body effects involved lifecasting the actors' heads and joining them to altered mannequin bodies, then detailing them to look frozen. Wardrobe was placed over the mannequins and hard coated with resin. Pale blue pearlescent paint gave the them an icy look and we added a frosty feel with styrosnow and small amounts of very fine glitter. For the frozen man, the eyes were opened up and realistic eyes were inserted to add drama and humor to the effect. Teeth, eyebrows, a beard and hair were added. For the frozen woman, real glasses were added.
